Startup of the Year: Hyper App Wins at ICTWEEK 2025

At the ICTWEEK 2025 annual ceremony in Tashkent, Hyper App was named "Startup of the Year" by IT-PARK Uzbekistan — the state agency responsible for accelerating the country's technology sector under the Digital Uzbekistan 2030 programme.

About the Award

ICTWEEK is Uzbekistan's largest annual technology event, bringing together government officials, enterprise technology buyers, and the local startup ecosystem for three days of sessions and exhibitions. The Startup of the Year award is judged by a panel that includes IT-PARK leadership, representatives from the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications (MICTC), and senior investors from the regional venture capital community.

The judges cited three factors in selecting Hyper App: the technical quality of the infrastructure (independently benchmarked), the company's contribution to data sovereignty and Law 213 compliance infrastructure, and the speed of commercial traction — over 40 enterprise clients onboarded in the first 14 months of operation.

By the Numbers at ICTWEEK 2025

  • 14 months since public launch — fastest path to "Startup of the Year" in the award's history
  • 40+ enterprise clients across FinTech, e-commerce, hospitality, and SaaS verticals
  • Zero data loss incidents since launch — our reliability record was specifically highlighted by the judges
  • Startup Programme — 20+ early-stage companies now running on Hyper App through our Stanbase and UZcombinator partnerships

What We Demonstrated at ICTWEEK

Our booth featured a live benchmark station where visitors could run standard cloud performance tests — sysbench for CPU, fio for storage I/O, and iperf3 for network throughput — and compare results in real time against published AWS and Azure numbers. The results consistently matched or exceeded our published 2.7× throughput claim, which drew significant attention from enterprise buyers who were previously skeptical.

We also announced the expansion of our managed services portfolio, including Managed PostgreSQL clusters with automated failover, S3-compatible object storage, and a private beta for Managed Kubernetes — responding directly to feedback from our existing client base.

A Note on What This Award Means

Recognition from IT-PARK matters because it reflects validation from the institution responsible for Uzbekistan's digital transformation agenda. But the award we care about most is the one our clients give us every month when they renew — and the fact that we haven't lost a single enterprise client since launch.

We're grateful to the ICTWEEK judges, to IT-PARK, and most of all to the clients who trusted us with their production infrastructure when we were still a very young company.
